EZ 8 Running Camp

What is the EZ8 Running Camp?

This is a fun co-ed running program geared towards both novice and intermediate runners.  The ultimate goal is to be able to run an 8-minute mile with EASE, thus the name...Easy Eight (EZ8). You'll learn run form and biomechanics, become an efficient runner through technique training drill, focus on flexibility and strength training, address common causes of running injuries and how to avoid them, review nutrition and hydration tips, learn the best gear to maximize performance and much more!!  You don't have to be a great runner to begin. The average age in each camp is late twenties to mid fifties.

As an EZ8 runner you will gain confidence, endurance, speed, and find your legs leaner and stronger. Meet runners like yourself in a fun, informative atmosphere.  Enjoy training in the spirited camaraderie of runners who have similar ability and experience.  Camp will focus on stretching/ injury prevention, rhythm intervals/drills, increasing your speed to an 8-minute mile, and of course, FUN ! ! !

CLASS SIZES ARE LIMITED!  REGISTER EARLY TO RESERVE YOUR SLOT.

Sherry Shelton, in association with North Atlanta Boot Camp, coaches this co-ed running camp. You will feel rewarded by running a 5K or 10K at your FASTEST speed with the group at the end of the camp. You'll also receive a great EZ8 T-shirt on graduation day!

Running is among the best aerobic exercises for physical conditioning of your heart and lungs. Studies have shown the health benefits to be enormous, reducing the likelihood of everything from the common cold to cancer. Your stamina will increase. You'll lose weight -- most beginners often lose nearly a pound a week.
